Reasons To Have A Nanny Cam

What is a nanny cam?

When you are planning to leave your children with the nanny for long hours, it's a good idea to install a hidden camera. This is a camera that can be fitted inside anything ranging from an alarm clock to smoke detectors to even wall clocks.

These are not at all visible and are very safely hidden from the person who is being observed. The only problem with these wireless security cameras is that they do not have a speaker of their own. They have to be connected to some audio video playing devices to show you the exact recorded incident.

Unfortunately, we live in a day when we have to be extremely cautious about who we leave our kids with. It isn’t always obvious during the initial “babysitter interview” or through reference research to tell whether or not the candidate is 100% trustworthy.

Using a hidden camera most effectively

Placing it in the right spot so that you get to actually keep a watch on the nanny is most important. Place it in a location (like viewing a crib or a kitchen) from where you get the best view and the best opportunity to see how your children are treated.

Think about placing the mini camera in a spot where it won't be blocked if and when something is placed in front of it. This is why nanny cameras were created.

Why consider a wireless mini camera?

The best part of the wireless hidden camera is that there are no outlet cables that can make anyone suspect that they're being watched. When you are fitting a mini camera be sure you have a trial recording in order to insure that you have placed the camera in the right place.

By setting up hidden cameras throughout your house, not only can you record your child’s care session, but also wirelessly uplink it to a website which you can view from your phone or laptop.

If you have a big house, placing nanny cams all over the house is the best way to use hidden cameras. The nanny with your children might move from room to room, or go into the garage.

If the nanny becomes aware of a camera, he/she might stay out of view as much as possible. Several cameras will guarantee more safety and ability to prove any wrong-doing.

It's as if you are a fly on the wall. Except, you are going to be a camera inside of a teddy bear. Chances are, that nanny is going to view that small teddy bear as being completely normal.

You could even use this bear as decoration in your house, but whatever you do, make sure you put the teddy bear nanny camera in the room where your children spend the most time.

There are many hidden cameras to choose from, it’s just a matter of deciding what your needs are, and then finding a product that meets them.

For instance, you might want the flexibility of a wireless camera so you don’t have wires running all over the house. There are also a variety of shapes, sizes and price ranges to consider when choosing your mini cameras.

They provide peace of mind when you have to be away from your children, and they can help secure your belongings.
