Corner Medicine Cabinet

A corner medicine cabinet is a good way to save space in your small bathroom. Of course, it should be placed over a corner sink in order to minimize the amount of floor space taken up by the fixtures.

The more open space you can create in the middle of a small room, the larger the room will appear, and the more comfortable it will seem when you're standing in it.

You would think that a corner cabinet would have design contraints due to the limited use, but there's enough choice to insure that you find what you need. The photo on this page depicts a relatively spacious version. You can find several models that will be more appropriate for tiny bathrooms.

You Can Find What's Right For You

There are narrower cabinets, taller cabinets, cabinets made of various woods, metal cabinets, mirrored and unmirrored, and so on.

Virtually all of the corner cabinet options are deeper than your traditional, recessed medicine cabinets. Therefore, they give you more freedom than those shallow cabinets regarding what you can put into them.

Reputable manufacturers include Broan, Nu tone, and (a bit pricey) Robern. Kitchen and bath showrooms will probably have a better selection of the high-end models than the home centers.

For a broader feel of the styles and finishes available, I would Google "corner medicine cabinet" and you'll spend as much time as you like looking at different models. Of course, once you determine what you like, you should print the photo and go to the appropriate retailer so that you can get a good idea about the quality of the product.
