Experts recommend getting the longest warranty (usually 3 years) available. Since you will be on the move with this laptop, you should get an optical drive such as a CD/DVD player. External sources can be used, but may not be convenient. A laptop without an internal optical drive lacks the capability for on-the-go entertainment.
