The Best Home Gyms

HOW TO CHOOSE = Shopping for the best Home Gyms can be confusing because there are so many variables. Do not buy one of these before trying it out thoroughly to be sure all the different position and features work for you.
Home gyms will be made of heavy steel, with a sturdy frame and moving parts that move smoothly. Look for a tube frame at least 2” square, steel cables, nylon-reinforced fiberglass pulleys and adequate padding.
The unit should come with a 200-pound weight stack. If you think you’ll need more, ask about future upgrades.
Think about your space limits. Know where the unit will be installed, and make sure you will have enough room to use your home gym properly. Make sure you have at least 8 feet of ceiling height.
THE REVIEW = The Best Single-Stack Home Gym is reported to be the Hoist V5. It’s a high-end piece of equipment at $3,400 (including optional leg press) and $2,700 without the leg press.
Hoist offers a lifetime warranty. There may not be a better Home Gym on the market, but I would ask if you couldn’t get the same results with less expensive units.
